Our urns cater for pets weighing from 1kg up to 65kg’s and are suitable for holding the ashes of cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, mice, birds and small reptiles.

Determining the quantity of ash you will receive from the pet crematory is difficult as crematory service processes vary. A general guide is one cup per 9 kg’s. We freely exchange if you need a different size pet urn, but it must be unused and returned in its original condition. Alternatively, we recommend that you buy the next size up if you are unsure.

To determine the appropriate pet urn volume capacity needed for a pet, the average guide is that 2.2 kilo of body weight (during a healthy state) = one cubic inch. For example, a 20 kg pet would require an urn with at least 44 cubic inches volume capacity for remains. This can vary slightly.

Keepsake Urn:

Keepsakes are designed to hold a token of your pet’s ashes to remember them by. Many people like to scatter their pet’s ashes in a special place and keep some as a memorial tribute to their beloved pet.

Cornerstone Crematorium service can give you peace of mind, knowing that your beloved pet is in compassionate hands and will be cared for with dignity and kindness.

Should you require our services:

• we can pick-up your loved one from your home or Veterinary Clinic / Hospital. We offer a 7 day a week pick-up (some charges may apply); or
• you may bring your pet to our facility at Breadalbane (appointment essential).

All pets are individually cremated and the ashes will be returned to you in a presentation of your choosing. This will usually take about 3 days.

Vets

Alternatively, we recommend using your local Vet to organise the cremation of your pet. Most Vets are happy to manage the process completely and return your pets ashes in a temporary container for you to transfer into your urn. Alternatively you can give the urn to your Vet and have the ashes returned to you already transferred.

Some of our urns have intricate engraving and therefore cannot be engraved with your pet’s name. We recommend you asking an engraving specialist for advice, as we take no responsibility for damage made by engraving.

We are in the process of having urn medallions made that can be engraved and sit around the neck of the urn on a matching chain.

Where can I place the urn?

Furry Souls provides a beautiful collection of stylish hand made urns for pets.

Our collection is unique and has been designed to compliment your décor and can sit nicely anywhere in your home.

They are made of high quality solid brass and metal making them durable and non- breakable. They can be placed outside as a memorial to your pet or buried in your pet’s favourite place in the garden.

We use Australia Post, or Courier, as our preferred supplier of delivery service and your parcel will be delivered by registered mail or by a pre-paid satchel with tracking number. This service is free and it reduces the risk of losing your item and can be used for compensation in the unfortunate event of a loss.

Please note that you must thoroughly check your parcel for damage caused in transit PRIOR to signing for it. If the parcel is signed for and transit damage is evident, insurance is voided.  Please note that whilst we take great care with packaging, Furry Souls cannot be held liable for any loss, damage or discrepancies that occur during transit.

International Delivery

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. It is also recommended to check if there are any quarantine requirements particularly if buying any wooden urns. Although our urns have been fumigated prior to entry into Australia, some countries may require further fumigation upon arrival into your country.
Customs fees are normally charged by the freight company or collected when you pick the item up. These fees are not additional delivery charges.

Overseas orders will be shipped by airmail at buyer’s expense. Freight and handling for overseas orders can be calculated before submitting your order and billed accordingly. Insurance will be included in the shipping price and goods must be signed for upon receipt. Furry Souls cannot be held liable for any loss, damage or discrepancies that occur during transit.

Having your pet put to sleep is difficult for the whole family and can be one of the most difficult things to do. You may want to call on a Vet to come to your house to put your pet to sleep in their familiar and loving surroundings. This can be less stressful for your pet and may make the process more calming and personal for everyone.

Freight charges are not included in the wholesale prices. These charges are seperate and need to be paid by the wholesale client upon receipt of order.

To leave a Memorial and upload a photo of your pet, click on “Memorials” under the category section.

You will then see a blue heading “Create your own Pet Memorial” and you click on that link and follow the instructions.

You do NOT need to open an account or register with us to place an order.

To order from our site, simply click on the urn you wish to buy, choose the size of your urn and follow checkout procedures.
